I just bought from an online post at eham.com an ID800, brand new. Waiting for it to come in the mail any day now.

I was talking to another "dstar" person a few weeks ago, and I was telling him my plans of buying a 91ad because the repeaters here in IL are on odd channels, and it looked like the 91 and 92ad were the only radios that did the 6.25 step.

The guy I was talking to said his id800 will do the 6.25 step, but wont show the whole frequency on the display.

I took another look at the Icom brochure, and it doesnt say anything about it, only 5, 10,12.5, ect...
So does it or doesnt it???!!!

Nevermind.

I took a better look at the manual and it says it does the 6.25.

Steven...Looking forward to FINALLY getting on the dstar train!!!!

You will like that radio. The only suggestion I have for you is to get the programming software for it. Programming the ID800 using the control head kinda sucks. I wish Icom made the CS800 software like the RS91 remote console.
