R>CS Call sign routing on ic-92 and 2820 QuestionW

When I hear a station I believe I am suppose to hold down the R>CS button for one second and that should change the the ur call.  But when I transmit  it still says cqcqcqcq   .  Is there one more step.  Am I holding button down to long or not long enough.  Thanks

Hi Jay, you should get an audible beep when it stores the callsign.  If you aren't getting a beep, you probably need to hold it a bit longer.
