Importing memories into Icom ID-880/80 software
« on: March 12, 2010, 08:41:40 PM »
I just became the proud owner of a used ICOM ID-880h and my daughter has a IC-80ad.  I downloaded the ICOM software and was able to read the memories from my radio.  I travel all over with work and went over to dstarinfo.com and downloaded their formatted list of dstar repeaters for this line of radios.  From what I read, the ICOM software only allows you to read in 99 memories at a time.  I broke the USA East and USA West into 95 repeaters each and imported 1-95 list with no issues.  I then tried loading the list starting with 96-190.  This list installed in the software, but erased my 1-95 list.  I thought when I started this activity that I could just break the list into pieces and then import.  With so many memories, it seems to be a strange restriction.

Is there a workaround for this behavior?

Am I missing some key fact?

Thank you, Stan NX3P
