Just want to make sure that everyone knows that if you know a blind ham who is interested in d-star, and they do not have a radio, then the dvdongle is for them. It is possible to use the dv-dongle with jaws for windows, and the java accessbridge. Just install the java access bridge after you've installed the dvtool software, and you have an accessible solution for some one who is totally blind to get involved in an amazing part of this hobby!!!
I still need some help in finding a totally accessible solution for programming an icom91ad. The rs 91 software is margtinal at best. It is ppossible to add memories, but with any new handheld that is used by a blind person the key to making any of this accessible is for a blind person to be able to program memories and make some reference points that they can use to determine just where they are. Can i get some help with this?
