Hello All

This may be a silly question but here goes. If I purchase a D-Star radio will I be able to use that radio on non D-Star repeaters? In short are the radios compatable with existing repeaters?

I have seen D-Star in use and it looks like a great idea but I do not wish to give up the old to get the new.

Thanks for any information

Don't worry - you don't give up anything.

All the D-STAR user radios do both Digital mode and normal FM analog.  Most also have very good receivers for monitoring...
