Hi,

I have just set up my new D Star Dongle and need a wee bit of help. I appreciate what I am going to ask is a bit basic but I really am stuck and would appreciate any assistance.

I have set up the PC and dongle and installed the software and driver.

Question 1: Obvioulsy I need to register as a user. How do I do this?

Question 2: I have tried to connect at the bottom of the dongle software screen. I have selected a gateway and pressed start and nothing happens. Is this because I am not registered? What should I see??

Yes, all you have to do is register on the D-STAR network.  We recommend that you contact your local D-STAR Gateway administrator, and register locally.

There's a list of Gateways at WWW.DStarUsers.Org.
