Using APRS.FI / FINDU.COM on PDA?
« on: January 01, 2009, 12:39:04 AM »
I recently purchased the HM-175GPS for my IC-92AD.  While playing around with it (trying to get it working) - I tried to check the APRS.FI / FINDU.COM Sites from my Verizon Blackberry Storm.

The site will come up - but no map :(

Any suggestions ???

Different sites have different support for mobile devices.  Those sites cater to the APRS community and I doubt the owners monitor this forum.  You might want to check on an APRS forum.  www.jfindu.net does have a page (GetMobileMaps.aspx) that provides static maps for mobile devices.  If you try it with your Storm and it does not display well, contact me directly and we'll see what we can do.
