Additional Information
Overview of the 446.850 B System\r\n\r\nThe Club’s first repeater was launched in April 2014. The repeater build was funded purely out of donations of excess equipment and spare items from many club members. Other than the investment of time and these donated resources, there was zero dollars spent from the Club Treasury. A very special thanks to Ramesh Dhami, VA3UV (Developer of FreeStar Software), and Joey Stanford, NV0N, for their amazing support, guidance, and fraternity in helping and teaching us some of the basics of Linux and making sure we had functionality in the many D-Star reporting systems and updating our software.\r\n\r\nThe K0PRA Repeater is located in The Pinery section of Parker, CO. The basics of the system consists of:\r\n\r\n2 – Motorola GM300 Radios (TX/RX) @ 13W Output (yes, thirteen watts right now).\r\n\r\n1 – DELL PowerEdge Server running CENTOS & FreeStar software\r\n\r\n1 – DVRPTR GMSK Board
