Registration is not required for local use. To access the gateway to connect to other repeater gateways or connect to reflectors you must be registered. A single registration on any gateway is all that is needed for access to the entire D-Star system. Please turn off any automatic position reporting when others are using the repeater. Setting your position reporting to PTT will meet this requirement.
